ABOUT LOVESHACKFANCY

LoveShackFancy began in 2013 with a beach-to-ballroom hand-dyed halter dress that founder and creative director Rebecca Hessel Cohen made for her bridal party. Over time, that one article of clothing, created to celebrate love, has turned into a world filled with all things romantic, dreamy and drenched in optimism — from clothing to tabletop, bedding, swim, ski, travel accessories, shoes and more.

ROLE OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a motivated and passionate Beauty Marketing Intern to join our newly created Beauty team. This role is onsite in our NYC office: 3-4 days/week in office, 20 hours/week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform general administrative duties including maintaining an organized sample closet, mailing logistics, packing, gift wrapping, etc.
• Assist in beauty UGC creator campaigns, including selection, mailing, and reviewing content
• Complete competitive analysis project to include trend, product, price, creative asset, visual merchandising, and design research
• Create and update marketing presentations 
• Help to ideate marketing ideas and activities to support marketing initiatives
• Assist with meeting preparation - internal and retailer meetings
• Assist with cross-functional projects related to beauty (PR, influencer, marketing, creative, design, visual merchandising) 
• Execute day-to-day tasks necessary to assist the beauty team

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

• Passion for the beauty industry
• Tapped into cultural and social trends and can proactively pitch ideas for the brand
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a plus if proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop); ability to deliver strong, polished, effective presentations
• Ability to cultivate strong partnerships across cross-functional teams
• Creative thinker and proactive, resourceful problem solver
• Strong administrative, organizational and time management skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multi-task
• Positive, proactive, and excited to learn.
