Shipping & Receiving Associate

Description

Edwards Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram at Village Pointe in Omaha, NE is looking for a Shipping & Receiving associate to join our Parts department. The Parts picker/Shipping & Receiving associate will pick, pack, and ship various automotive parts and accessories. The parts picker will work with technicians, advisors, and customer to find they parts they need. Previous automotive parts and shipping & receiving experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Working with Technicians, advisors and customers to assist them in finding the parts
• Assist with inventory management and verify that all parts are correctly stocked and displayed correctly
• Organize parts and participate in modifying displays to reflect the current inventory
• Label different parts based on their function and price using predetermined methods for organization and documentation
• Inspect returned parts to find defects and promptly assist employees and customers with a replacement
• Participate in accepting shipments of parts, sending orders to customers and documenting all inventory that enters and exits the facility

Requirements

• Personal, friendly and willing to listen
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Familiarity with inventory is preferred but not required
