SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

We’re seeking a Business Systems Analyst II to join our dynamic team focusing on the systems and processes that power warehousing and logistics. The role will support all things warehousing; production picking and receiving, inventory management, outbound order picking, and shipping. It’s a unique opportunity for someone who thrives on variety, learns quickly, and likes “rolling up their sleeves” and digging deep to find meaningful solutions to complex problems or improvements to multifaceted processes.

This position will serve as the go-to resource for warehousing and logistics, designing tools and solutions that drive high efficiency distribution and inventory management. You will work cross functionally with warehousing, logistics, and other departments to identify pain points, optimize workflows, design and implement solutions or tools, and design reports that make work more efficient and provide clarity and insight to the business.

Because we’re an entrepreneurial, creative company, we’re looking for someone who’s naturally curious, action-oriented and comfortable exploring unfamiliar areas. You’ll play an important role in bridging business goals and technological solutions by bringing creative ideas, insight and hands-on support to an important part of the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide direct systems support to the warehousing and inventory management departments and facilitate other IT or third-party resources as needed.
  • Review and prioritize project and non-project issues with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to understand business needs, define requirements, and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Analyze and document complex business processes and system interactions; identify opportunities for automation, optimization, reporting, and improved usability.
  • Design and implement new business processes and systems, ensuring they meet business objectives and are aligned with industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including process flow diagrams, system requirements, and user guides to support the successful implementation of new systems and processes.
  • Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment and understanding of requirements and system capabilities.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), ensuring that the developed solution meets the defined requirements and is fit for use.
  • Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for implemented systems and processes.
  • Conduct regular reviews of systems and processes, recommending changes and enhancements to drive continuous improvement.
  • Participate in project management activities, including developing project plans, monitoring progress, and providing status updates to stakeholders.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the company is leveraging the latest tools and methodologies.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience managing, implementing or configuring warehouse management systems
  • Proficiency in business process modeling techniques and tools, such as BPMN or UML.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, Microsoft Fabric, or other BI tools.
  • Knowledge of enterprise software applications, such as ERP, CRM, or SCM systems.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Experience administering and configuring with D365 warehouse management software
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Experience with business process automation tools, such as RPA platforms.
