Why this role exists…

As we continue to scale our Service Excellence division across long-term client engagements, we’re looking for experienced Senior Data Platform Consultants to lead technical service delivery, mentor junior team members, and drive service excellence.

This role is central to our support model, which includes proactive optimisation, enhancements, and client engagement. You’ll be the go-to expert for resolving complex issues and ensuring our platforms deliver consistent value.

What you'll be doing...

You’ll lead service delivery efforts, guide junior consultants, and engage directly with clients to ensure their needs are met.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Leading customer engagements and ensuring process adherence

  • Mentoring and guiding junior consultants 

  • Managing service delivery tasks across multiple projects

  • Hands-on development using tools like Snowflake and Matillion

  • Driving documentation and knowledge sharing across the team

  • Supporting long-term client relationships with a focus on continuous improvement
In your first 3–6 months, success might look like:
  • Confidently managing client relationships and expectations

  • Driving proactive optimisation and performance improvements 

  • Establishing documentation and redundancy plans to ensure seamless support

What you'll need to succeed...

We’re looking for someone who brings leadership, technical depth, and a collaborative spirit. You might be a great fit if you have:
  • Proven experience in service delivery and client engagement

  • Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms 

  • Familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Jira, and an ITIL certification (preferred)

  • Expertise in data modelling (Kimball methodology) and data warehousing concepts

  • A proactive, mentoring mindset and dedication to team success
This role might not be the right fit if you’re:
  • Uncomfortable with flexible working hours or early-morning monitoring (CET hours ±1)

  • Not proactive or collaborative in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
