As our Service Excellence team continues to expand to meet growing client demand, we’re looking to hire talented Data Platform Consultants who can ensure smooth operations, resolve issues, and proactively optimise performance across modern data platforms.

This role is part of our service delivery function, which goes beyond traditional support. You’ll be helping clients maintain and enhance their data platforms post go-live, ensuring they run like well-oiled machines. If you’re curious, analytical, and eager to learn, this could be a great fit.

What you'll be doing...

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running and enhancement of client data platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Monitoring applications and resolving issues through debugging and change requests

  • Designing small-scale systems and optimising performance

  • Using tools like SQL, Matillion, Snowflake, and ServiceNow to manage tasks and SLAs

  • Collaborating with delivery teams during transition phases and knowledge transfer

  • Contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing to ensure continuity and team learning
In your first 3–6 months, success might look like:
  • Mastering our technology stack; Snowflake and Matillion

  • Responding to customer issues proactively and meeting SLAs with minimal supervision

  • Identifying and resolving recurring issues and contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing

What you'll need to succeed...

We’re looking for someone who brings technical curiosity, reliability, and a proactive mindset. You’d be a great fit if you have:
  • Experience with ETL tools (Matillion is preferred, but others like Fivetran, SSIS, ADF, Informatica, or DBT are welcome)

  • Strong understanding of data modelling (Kimball methodology) and data warehousing concepts

  • Familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or similar

  • Analytical thinking, dedication, and a willingness to learn and ask questions
This role might not be the right fit if you’re looking for:
  • A purely development-focused role without operational responsibilities

  • A rigid working schedule; adaptability is key (CET hours with flexibility for early monitoring)
