Job Description

To operate effectively in a delivery focused and often fast-paced environment, working within the planning department to create an effective schedule for execution by the teams on all jobs, using information gained from the client and the department managers.

  • Craft an efficient schedule for the execution by the teams on all jobs
  • Access employee hours spent on projects and create reports on efficiency
  • Work with staff from different departments to collaborate and main coordination
  • Assisting in implementing maintenance planning and scheduling processes and developing process improvements
  • Keep accurate metrics on the performance of planning and scheduling functions and provide timely
  • Provide input to management and suggest improvements for efficiency
  • Develop a daily schedule to secure adequate resources to complete all jobs
  • Ensure all works orders and maintenance log items are closed when work is finished

  • The ability to self-motivate and work within a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to maintain professionalism at all times under stressful situations
  • Demonstrated customer focus with an ability to resolve complex issues with an eye for detail
  • Ability to understand the importance of priority of work tasks
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to create sketches
  • Confidence in using computer packages and familiarity with planning tools
  • The ability to work under pressure to deadlines
  • I.T literate particularly Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player, but also comfortable working alone
  • Understands the need for respect, sensitivity and discretion in a public facing role
  • Some flexibility of working hours may be required
  • Self-Motivated, enthusiastic and calm under pressure

Key Skills (Desirable)

  • Basic CAD skills
