About the Position:
The Marketing Director leads AnswerNet’s lean, high-performance marketing department, driving measurable revenue growth through strategic lead generation and sales enablement. This role balances hands-on execution with leadership oversight, ensuring marketing directly contributes to creating customers for AnswerNet while providing sales with qualified leads, high-quality collateral, and cross-departmental brand support.
The Director owns overall marketing strategy, performance metrics, and operational execution across multiple verticals, ensuring every activity is tied to revenue impact, operational efficiency, and brand integrity.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Strategic Leadership & Planning
• Develop and execute a marketing strategy aligned with sales and corporate growth goals
• Define annual, quarterly, and monthly performance targets for lead generation, conversion rates, and sales enablement deliverables
• Oversee demand generation, content, SEO, CRO, creative, and marketing operations functions
• Manage marketing budget, ensuring optimal ROI from all channels and vendors
2. Lead Generation & Conversion Optimization
• Direct multi-channel campaigns to deliver qualified leads to sales teams
• Monitor funnel metrics from MQL to closed-won, driving continuous improvements
• Oversee paid, organic, and partnership channels, ensuring performance meets or exceeds KPIs
3. Sales Enablement
• Ensure sales teams receive timely, high-quality collateral (case studies, presentations, proposals, landing pages)
• Maintain a library of up-to-date, brand-compliant sales assets
• Collaborate with Sales Leadership on feedback loops to improve lead quality and collateral effectiveness
4. Internal Marketing & Communications
• Deliver quarterly internal newsletters and company-wide updates
• Provide brand and marketing support for internal department initiatives (HR, Operations, etc.)
• Maintain internal marketing calendar and request management processes
5. Team Leadership & Vendor Management
• Lead a lean team of specialists in content, SEO, demand gen, CRO, design, and web/UX
• Manage agency and vendor relationships, holding them accountable for performance metrics
• Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and cross-functional collaboration
6. Performance Tracking & Reporting
• Own marketing KPIs and dashboard reporting to executive leadership
• Track ROI for all marketing investments and adjust strategy accordingly
• Ensure marketing attribution is accurate across all campaigns
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) volume and quality
• MQL-to-SQL conversion rate
• Sales enablement satisfaction score
• Team deliverable completion rate and deadline adherence
• Marketing ROI
Required Skills/Qualifications:
• 8+ years in B2B marketing leadership, preferably in call center, BPO, or SaaS industries
• Proven track record in lead generation and sales enablement
• Strong understanding of SEO, paid media, CRO, and content strategy
• Experience managing multi-website environments and multi-vertical campaigns
• Data-driven mindset with expertise in analytics and attribution
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
