Salt Water Disposal Operator

Overview

The position of Salt Water Disposal Operator will be responsible for maintaining records for daily reports, performance maintenance on pumps and other equipment with minimal or no supervision. 

Responsibilities

• Overall maintenance, upkeep, and appearance of facilities, transfer pumps, and pipelines.
• Monitor transfer pumps and tank levels.
• Gather truck tickets and complete daily report.
• Change filter socks and filter screens when necessary.
• Verify all equipment is in operational condition and report issues to supervisor immediately.
• Respond to alarms and callouts.
• Pigging and pipeline patrols for both the salt water and gas pipelines in the assigned area.
• Performing duties per company Standard Operating Procedures and safety standards

Qualifications

• 1+ yrs. of SWD Operator experience preferred. 
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. 
• Must live within 50 miles of Ray, ND
• Valid driver's license and clean record.
• Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements including background, drug test, MVR, agility and fit for duty.
• Physical Requirements - Must be able to lift 40 lbs., climb ladders and stairs. Walking, bending stopping is required. Must be able to wear personal protective equipment. Must be able to respond to visual and audible alarms. 
• Understanding of environmental and safe work practices.
