Homes for Students is one of the UK’s leading providers of student accommodation. 

As the Resident Events Coordinator, you’ll be the heartbeat of the student community at our EVO-branded site. This role combines creativity, community-building, and operational excellence to deliver an exceptional student experience. You’ll manage a generous student engagement budget to plan and execute a dynamic calendar of events, helping students from all over the world settle in, build friendships, and feel at home.

You will be working at Centre Court property based in Nottingham.

Alongside events, you'll contribute to the overall success of the site by supporting with social media, sales viewings, reception duties, and driving forward campaigns to encourage rebooking’s, capture reviews, and collect feedback. You'll be a vibrant on-site presence, promoting the EVO brand values and enhancing the student lifestyle offering. 

Major Duties

Community Building & Events:

  • Lead the creation and delivery of an annual programme of inclusive, engaging student events and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Build relationships with students to ensure they feel connected, heard, and part of the community.
  • Use events as a platform to encourage tenancy renewals, collect feedback and reviews, and generate positive word-of-mouth.
  • Manage and track the student experience budget to ensure maximum value and impact.
  • Collaborate with local partners, societies, and vendors to diversify event offerings and promote cultural awareness.

Social Media & Brand Representation:

  • Capture and curate high-quality content from events to showcase student life across the property, EVO and Homes for Students social channels.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring EVO's identity and tone of voice are reflected in all communications and engagements.
  • Grow the online presence of the property through regular, relevant, and engaging posts and stories.

Sales & Viewings Support:

  • Conduct engaging viewings for prospective residents with the goal of converting them into bookings.
  • Work in partnership with the central sales team and be an on-site sales advocate.
  • Attend and represent the property at housing fairs, open days, and other promotional events.
  • Support campaigns aimed at increasing rebooking’s and driving student referrals.

Reception & Admin Duties

  • Provide a warm and professional welcome to all students and visitors.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and assist with general enquiries in person, by phone, and by email.
  • Support check-in and check-out processes.
  • Handle reception admin tasks such as logging maintenance requests, managing amenity space and the inhouse app.
  • Respond appropriately to welfare concerns and escalate where necessary.

In order for Homes for Students to work effectively, you may be required to assist with other areas of work and therefore you should be prepared to undertake other duties appropriate to the post as delegated by your line manager.
