BBST - BrazilBoeing Brazil is seeking Senior Propulsion Structural Analysis Engineer, reporting to the Propulsion Structures Engineering Manager, working out of the São José dos Campos office.
The Senior Propulsion Structural Analysis Engineer will guide product design and verify structural integrity for primary and secondary structures stress development, certification of current and future commercial airplane programs, airplane production & airplane post-production modifications using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle.
Position Responsibilities:
- Knowledge in structural elements and actuation mechanisms for the Aircraft's Structures and Propulsion Systems, desirable knowledge with pylon structures, nacelle, thrust reverser, mount, fusible link, aerodynamic fairings, hinges, APU tail cone, and others, as well as relevant aspects of their integration with the aircraft’s airframe and systems.
Leads development, integration and documentation of structural requirements to establish the system design.
Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.
Guides product design and verifies structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
Leads development of test plans and configurations, supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
Supports in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing improvements. Develops analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
- Must have a degree in Engineering.
- Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
- In depth experience of structural analysis tools and methodologies.
- In depth experience with advanced propulsion technologies and materials.
- Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and certification processes.
- In depth experience in requirements management.
- In depth experience with system safety assessment/functional hazard assessment methodology.
- In depth experience experience with aerospace products.
