The role

As an Investment Manager you will be responsible for contributing to Railpen’s Private Markets investments by conducting high-quality due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and market analysis to support strong portfolio performance. Within this role you will play a key part in sourcing and evaluating investments in line with the Private Markets strategic plan, and ensuring effective portfolio execution to deliver on the organisation’s return objectives.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK.

The person

We are looking for someone with experience in private equity co-investment with strong numerical, valuation, and investment modelling skills. A Solid understanding of private markets asset classes and macro-economic trends alongside a track record of preparing investment reports and presenting recommendations, is key for this role.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills with the ability to work independently and deliver results to deadlines, a collaborative mindset with effective communication skills for engaging internal and external stakeholders and will be curious, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to investment research and monitoring.
