You will be responsible for customer relationships and performance of an assigned customer portfolio by providing Maersk’s solutions at Ocean and Logistics fields. There are enough opportunities to grow our business and opportunities to contribute for our customers’ successes by bringing integrator value to the customers’ supply chain.  The working environment is diversified and fast-paced where you can interact with talents and experts across the globe which will provide unique growth opportunities for you.  Various trainings, OJT and regular support will be provided by the company, Manager, Mentor, and Team members while you will also have chance to bring your expertise to the company and lead business.

Key responsibilities are

  • Manages assigned customers and budget base; pursues and secures business in line with the business objectives.
  • Probes and identifies customer needs and provides solutions.
  • Builds a good understanding of target customers and the assigned account base.
  • Communicates significant trends, rate changes and policies to assigned accounts.
  • Identifies and establishes business contacts with potential customers.
  • Researches and analyzes industry trends and competition.
  • Ensures CRM (customer relationship management) tools are updated on time with excellent quality.
  • Be a good team member, share, and collaborate with many internal stakeholders.

Candidates should have/be

  • Working experiences at international business environment.
  • Working experiences as a Sales at Ocean or Forwarding industry is a plus but not a mandatory condition.
  • Working experience at (or for) Retail, Lifestyle, and/or FMCG Food & Beverage Industries is a plus but not a mandatory condition.
  • Self-driven for diligence, result-oriented for consistent performance, tolerant to pressure under multi-task missions, and open-minded for changes and diversity.
  • Fluent communication skills in written and spoken Japanese and English.
  • Logical thinker with analytical skills.
