The Opportunity
We are seeking a consultant to join our growing Healthcare Consulting & Implementation team. In this client-facing role, you will support and help deliver audits, assessments, and advisory engagements across a diverse set of healthcare and regulatory frameworks. You’ll work closely with our clients to assess risk, evaluate documentation, and support compliance efforts involving HITRUST, HIPAA, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, CMS, and privacy regulations.
This is a remote position with occasional travel and offers company-sponsored certification programs to support your continued professional development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of audits, assessments, and advisory services for healthcare and regulated clients
- Assist in evaluating security and privacy controls, performing risk assessments, reviewing documentation, and identifying compliance gaps
- Learn and apply leading frameworks and regulations such as HITRUST, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, CMS, and privacy standards
- Contribute to the development of high-quality deliverables, including findings reports, remediation plans, and client-facing presentations
- Collaborate with senior consultants and project leads to ensure the successful execution of client engagements
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships, representing NCC Group with professionalism and care
What We're Looking For
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interest in cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance
- Eagerness to learn and pursue relevant industry certifications (e.g., HITRUST CCSFP, ISO 27001) paid for by NCC Group
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements
Qualifications That Stand Out
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in cybersecurity, information systems, health information management, or a related field
- Internship or entry-level experience in IT auditing, privacy, compliance, or risk management
- Familiarity with security or privacy standards such as HITRUST CSF, HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001, or CMS
- Experience working in or supporting the healthcare sector
