Procurement Contract Specialist

The Procurement Contract Specialist is responsible for managing the Osage Nation Health Systems Tribal Government contracting process and supports the daily operations related to purchasing activities, sourcing, vendor management, and contract administration.  This role is responsible for ensuring contacts are in place when service is rendered, payments are aligned, and contracts are in compliance with all relevant laws, rules, regulations, and procurement policies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in contract management
• At least two (2) years of experience with legal writing 
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check 
• Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing

• Proficiency in contract management software  
• Requires good interpersonal communication and teamwork skills 
• Must have strong negotiation skills  
• Must have a clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicles
