What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma or GED General Studies Required
What We'd Like You to Have:
- Associate Degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred.
- 3-5 years inventory control preferred
- 3 years working in Materials Management or healthcare industry preferred.
What You'll Do:
- Identifies and keeps appropriate personnel informed of any stocking level concerns (e.g. backorders, substitutions, product changes). Creates replenishment requisitions and follows up on open orders to ensure adequate stocking levels. Ensures rotation of stock, verifies proper stocking location and correctly places new inventory in accordance with stocking guidelines.
- Ensures shelves and storage areas are neatly stocked, organized, clearly labeled and within current expiration date.
- Makes par level and min/max adjustments based upon department need. Evaluates and promptly communicates situations that can affect stock availability and/or department budget. Ensures par templates and bin labels are kept current and legible. Makes changes as needed.
- Demonstrates good judgment by preventing emergency orders whenever possible and selecting the most efficient and economical manner of shipping products. Identifies obsolescence through periodic usage review, confirms status with appropriate personnel, communicates changes and properly removes item(s) from inventory as specified in guidelines.
- Keeps complete, accurate records of changes to inventory, including additions, deletions and product changes. Keeps inventory location database current to match physical inventory location database current to match physical inventory.
- Practices effective communication skills through verbal and written methods. Identifies problem areas, investigates and communicates findings, making adjustments as needed. Notifies Purchasing immediately of any shipping errors, returns needed or damaged products.
- Generates and interprets various inventory related reports.
- Upholds a professional working relationship at all times and adheres to department rules. Practices teamwork and adheres to Standards of Behavior.
- Performs routine cycle counts and conducts root cause analysis to ensure perpetual inventory accuracy. Assists with cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Demonstrates a proficient knowledge of inventory control techniques and proper asset management
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and Power Point
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Leadership skills and abilities
- Demonstrated ability to formulate solutions and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple priorities

Pay Range
