Summary and Objective
We are seeking a data-driven and operations-savvy MRO Strategy & Planning Analyst to support our growing Part 145 MRO organization across paint, avionics, interior, and maintenance service lines. This role will play a key part in shaping strategic decisions through the analysis of capacity planning, financial performance, labor optimization, pricing model development, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with operational insight to drive efficiency, profitability, and long-term growth across our multi-hangar MRO facilities.
Essential functions

Develop analytical tools to help evaluate and forecast facility and hangar space utilization across paint, interiors, avionics, and maintenance operations to align with demand and turnaround expectations.

Analyze workforce productivity and labor allocation, identifying process bottlenecks and recommending solutions to improve labor efficiency and reduce cost per hour.

Build and maintain dashboards and reports tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), including revenue per job, cost structures, gross margins, and profitability by service line.

Support sales and operational teams with near-term and long-range forecasts based on historical performance, customer trends, and market insights.

Collaborate with finance and commercial teams to to provide pricing analytics that reflect labor, materials, and overhead costs while remaining competitive.

Provide “what-if” analyses and scenario planning tools to support facility expansion, service line changes, customer programs, and capital investments.

Serve as a support bridge between finance, operations, sales, and executive leadership to analyze alignment of corporate strategy and operational realities.

Qualifications
Required education and experience
-
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Aviation Management, or related field (MBA or master’s preferred)

3+ years of experience in operations analysis, strategic planning, or finance — preferably in MRO, aviation, or complex manufacturing
-
Advanced skillset with Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and other data visualization tools

Experience working with large datasets & establishing attribution structures across various product lines and services
-
Experience developing operational & financial models a plus

Experience with ERP/MRO software (e.g., Corridor, Quantum, AMOS, Ramco) a plus

Demonstrated ability to translate data into actionable insights and influence leadership

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States, must provide two forms of Federal Identification.
