Big Data Engineer II will assist in designing, developing and implementing big data solutions. Supporting data ingestion, storage, and analysis from various sources, utilizing big data technologies. Assist senior engineers to optimize data workflows and pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity.

What you will do:

• ETL Processes: Develop and maintain robust ETL processes to ensure seamless data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Data Modeling: Design and implement data models to support efficient data processing and storage.
• Database Management: Manage and optimize databases to ensure data integrity, performance, and reliability.
• SQL: Utilize SQL for complex data querying, transformation, and manipulation tasks.
• Big Data Technologies: Implement and optimize big data technologies to handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Distributed Computing: Optimize distributed computing resources to enhance data processing efficiency.
• Snowflake, Fivetran, DBT, Airflow: Build, maintain and data and pipelines using cloud technologies.

• Bachelor's Degree Computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. required or
• 6-8 years of additional relevant experience required

• 3-5 years Experience in data engineering or a related field required

• While not required, there are a variety of certifications that prove skillset (Big data certs, Azure cloud certs, Snowflake certs)
