Job description

Analog Devices is seeking a Staff Engineer of Digital IC Design for the Personal Electronic Solutions (PES) Business Unit. The Digital Design team is part of the PES Power Design group which researches, analyzes, designs, and simulates world-class integrated circuits. This group has design teams spread globally in Europe, Asia and United States.

The candidate will be self-motivated, willing to learn exciting new technologies and develop new products, but also be able to work effectively within a talented group of individuals across multiple development locations.

The successful candidate will join a company with a rich history of producing breakthrough innovative architectures for power in consumer products for major customers. The successful candidate must have a track record of leading successfully projects and a background of solving complex challenges.

Job Description

  • Digital IP Development
    • Execute based on IP Specification
    • Improve Team Methodologies
  • Power, security & authentication IC Development
    • Execute on power, security & authentication IC design, pre-silicon verification and post-silicon validation
    • Provide support to physical design layout team
  • Technical Customer Interface Engagement
    • Participate in customer engagements, in support of technical feasibility
    • IC development weekly meetings

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BSEE  or higher, MSEE preferred
  • 5 years of relevant experience in integrated circuit

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Basic FPGA simulation and development
  • Basic IP Digital Design experience
  • Good technical and analytical background with good problem-solving skills
  • Great team worker with multi-discipline
  • HDL programming languages (Verilog / SystemVerilog)
  • Basic knowledge of Functional Oriented Verification
  • Timing Constraints, Static Timing Analysis (STA), Gate Level Simulation (GLS)
  • Good written and verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on power consumer product development experience, whether at the component or system level
  • Familiarity with Design verification methodology and UVM
  • Familiarity with AMS tool, DC/DC converters and/or security
