Abbott GmbH is looking for a Manager, HR Communications EMEA (m/f/d), based in Wiesbaden.

Are you a strategic communicator with a passion for storytelling, employee engagement, and impactful messaging? We’re looking for an experienced communications expert to join our team and help shape how Abbott’s employees across EMEA connect with the company’s culture, development opportunities and benefits.

As Manager, HR Communications EMEA, you will act as an internal strategic communication partner to HR leaders and project teams across a wide and diverse geography. You will transform complex initiatives into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with diverse internal employee audiences, ranging from manufacturing floors to field-based employees and those working in our corporate offices. This role is ideal for a seasoned communicator who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and brings a strong background in communication campaigning, change communication, and stakeholder engagement.

What You’ll do

Innovate and manage regional communication campaigns that ensure our people get the most out of their benefits, development opportunities, talent development and much more
Ensure regional and country-level communications are in alignment with Abbott’s global messaging and brand voice, while ensuring messaging is relevant and resonates locally
Partner with HR leaders across Europe, Middle East and Africa to craft messaging that supports business transformation, change management, and employee engagement
Collaborate with global communications teams, Public Affairs, and external vendors to deliver fresh, high-impact content and campaigns
Ensure all messaging reflects Abbott’s employer brand, employee value proposition, and corporate identity

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
6–10 years of experience in communications, preferably in a corporate, global or agency setting
Proven experience delivering impactful strategic counsel to senior leaders and managing complex communication projects independently
Strong writing, storytelling, and content development skills across digital and traditional channels in the English language
Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Proven ability to work autonomously while actively contributing to a collaborative, global communication team and stakeholders across Europe, Middle East and Africa and the U.S.
English fluency is essential for success in this role
