Southwestern Behavioral Healthcare is seeking dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Mental Health Technicians to join our team across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts. In this role, you will work within our Supervised Group living and/or residential dual diagnosis programs for adults, providing supervision, support, and skill-building assistance to help clients achieve their highest level of independence.
Starting Pay = $16 per hour

WHAT IS THIS POSITION RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Mental Health Technicians work in a residential setting with individuals who have severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorder to assist in developing recovery and independent living skills.
- We utilize a person centered approach to help residents reach their recovery goals.
- Mental Health Technicians are not responsible for hands-on care.
- We offer an individualized orientation program to help you learn how to effectively work with our residents that must be completed within six months of hire.
Job Qualifications
WHAT'S REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION?
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience working with individuals having psychiatric conditions desirable.
- Work schedule: 40 hours per week
- Schedule 1st shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm; 2nd shift: 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm; 3rd shift: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am.
- Demonstrated proficiency with interpersonal and writing skills.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Must have valid driver's license and qualify for Company's vehicle liability insurance.
- Candidates must pass required background checks including county/state checks, sex offender registry check, and drug screen.
