The ITS Department consists of 8 areas of support.

  • Help Desk Team: Provides user technology support, handles equipment issues and replacements, and manages desktop application installations.
  • Technology Services Team: Oversees the network, servers, and endpoints (e.g., desktops, laptops, printers, phones) to ensure a secure, reliable, and redundant infrastructure that supports a seamless user experience.
  • Enterprise Applications Team: Leads the planning, development, implementation, and support of both internally and externally hosted data collection applications, databases, and reporting tools, including ETO, ReQlogic, SSRS, Carelogic, Accela, RedCap, SQL, and Power Platform.
  • Informatics and Analytics Team: Collaborates with programs and bureaus to deliver data analysis, visualization, automated reporting, and dashboard development to support decision-making and improve health outcomes.
  • Information Security Team: Works with the BPHC community to secure system and network resources, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of client and staff information.
  • Digital Team: Develops, manages, and optimizes digital infrastructure and applications to enhance business operations, ensure security, and drive innovation through emerging technologies.
  • ITS Project Management: Provides an overview of all active ITS projects, including project status, dependencies, and contacts, to ensure smooth execution and address any blockers for team members.
  • Data Modernization Program: Supports the planning, design, and implementation of data governance and engineering, focusing on improving data quality, breaking down silos, enhancing data sharing, and building a robust data architecture using cloud-based technologies.
Qualifications
  • Passionate commitment to health equity and racial/social justice issues.
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn about the role of public health in addressing racism, the social determinants of health, and inequities in health outcomes as well as strategies to advance racial justice and health equity.
  • BA/BS degree and 2 years of experience in a Microsoft environment with Active Directory OR 6 years in lieu of experience. Experience with SCCM a plus. Experience with virtualization technology including but not limited to Hyper-V and VMWare.

Preferred or Plus:

  • Demonstrated formal or informal social justice advocacy experience and/or community organizing/mobilization experience.
  • Exposure to other technologies, such as Linux, Symantec Netbackup, Microsoft Certifications a plus
