  • Works to help BPHC advance as an antiracist organization by meeting
    or exceeding the standards set by the BPHC Anti-Racism Policy.
  • Facilitates groups and "one on one" counseling sessions.
  • Provides case management services to clients.
  • Obtains comprehensive psycho-social histories using a team approach.
  • Formulates treatment and discharge plans.
  • Maintains case management files, statistical information and client records.
  • Provides crisis intervention and supportive counseling to program clients.
  • Monitors client adherence to treatment program rules and regulations.
  • Assists staff in the management of environment and guest safety.
  • Attends assigned meetings and trainings.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn about the role of public health in addressing racism, the social determinants of health, and inequities in health outcomes as well as strategies to advance racial justice and health equity.
  • Bachelor's degree with minimum one (1) year related experience. College level course work equivalent to an Associate degree with two (2) years human service experience. High School diploma / GED and three (3) years experience may be substituted for entrance requirement.
    CAC or CADAC preferred.
  • Previous experience working with homeless, diverse ethnic racial and low income population with understanding of mental health substance abuse and recovery issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer skills a plus.
