Job Description
FIFX Pricing team handles the collection, maintenance, analysis and dissemination of high-quality reference and pricing content for Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange and MM customers. The profile pertains to project deliveries and working on pivotal initiatives spanning across different areas.
The FIFX Pricing group covers vast asset classes within Fixed Income, FX and Money Market instruments including Government & Corp Bonds, CDS, CDS Indices, FX Spots, Forwards, Options, NDFs, IRS, Repos, CDs, CPs, etc.
The purpose of this role is to provide subject matter expertise, skills and specific content knowledge to contribute to the development of the content roadmap to fulfil all Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange Pricing business requirements. The individual will work with Business Units and other partners to determine emerging requirements for content and analytics and to be a key advisor to the Leadership team on major infrastructure projects and enhancement requirements. The individual is expected to strategically influence and guide the area of specialty and assume ownership of decisions which may not be subject to detailed review by immediate management, considering various factors such as the business needs and production requirements.
Important Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in FIFX Pricing processes pertaining to Timeseries and Reference content and to fully support next generation infrastructure projects and other business requirements.
- Understand, document and communicate end to end data flows from source to product, including multiple databases, upstream and downstream systems.
- Lead major projects involving diverse data sets/systems/processes across teams and functions, pulling together expertise and resource from across the business, content, products etc.
- Influence content operations’ vision/principles in terms of maintenance, process, storage, automations, and/or new infrastructure.
- Prepare and document content requirements specifications for development teams.
- Establish close working relationships with content operational partners, understanding and representing their needs across various forums.
- Proactively engage in customer problem management. This includes resolving issues presented by internal and external clients.
- Provide content expertise and tailor-made solutions to sophisticated customer queries and requests.
- Represent the Content Operations in discussion and delivery of strategic projects and programs.
- Maintain up-to-date content expertise & work to develop further content & technical knowledge.
- Prepare & present formal reports of recommendations, including establishing agreement, implementation, monitoring & testing.
- Provide expertise & creativity in developing new methods of working which focus on cost-effectiveness & resource efficiency.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of new trends in regulation impacting the financial markets, and translate external market policies, rules and events into internal technical and operational requirements.
- Develop training and communication plans for infrastructure and enhancement rollouts to rest of content operation teams.
- Ensure documentation on workflows and practices is up-to-date and consistent.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of FIFX Timeseries and Reference content along with the related systems, tools, infrastructures and LSEG products.
- Deep understanding of FIFX markets and emerging trends and their impact to content operations processes, tools, systems and LSEG products.
- Advanced knowledge on the relationships between FIFX Reference and Pricing content.
- Experience in leading projects involving diverse data sets/systems/processes.
- Successful documentation of business requirements and functional specifications for several projects.
- Excellent project and time management skills.

- Good Datastream knowledge.
- Intermediate knowledge on Python with a strong desire to explore and expand.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance, Economics or equivalent experience.
- LSEG Product or Industry Certifications an added advantage.
