We’re on an exciting growth journey and looking for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our team. This is a hands-on, on-the-ground role partnering closely with leaders, operational managers, and their teams to drive engagement, capability and performance across our business.

About the role

You’ll provide end-to-end People & Culture support from onboarding and development to employee relations and cultural initiatives while acting as a trusted advisor to leaders. The role requires regular travel across all our sites (2 days per week at Epping, 1 day in the south-east (Hallam/Montrose) and 1 to 2 days at Essendon) This close connection with teams allows you to deliver practical support and help shape our culture as we grow.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with leaders and managers to provide coaching, advice, and solutions across the employee lifecycle.
  • Leading performance management, grievance, and investigation processes in line with legislation and policy.
  • Supporting workforce planning, succession, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Driving cultural change, employee engagement, and capability-building programs.
  • Leading or contributing to People & Culture projects in areas such as policy, process, diversity & inclusion, and reward & recognition.
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, Modern Awards, and safety standards.

About you

  • Proven experience in a HR Business Partner or Advisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and Modern Award interpretation.
  • Skilled in handling complex employee relations matters.
  • Excellent relationship-building, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Able to work independently and adapt in a fast-changing environment.
  • Degree qualified in Human Resources, Business or Psychology (or equivalent experience).
  • Current Victorian driver’s licence and ability to travel between sites.
