Principal Recruitment Consultant - Energy & Power

Brunel is looking for a driven Principal Consultant to lead our Energy and Power desk in QLD, specialising in white-collar recruitment for Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractors and subcontractors. Demand for resources in Queensland’s energy and power sector is rising due to increasing electricity consumption, renewable energy development, and infrastructure upgrades to support the energy transition

This is a 360 role where you'll focus on developing and managing relationships across head contractors and subcontractors, delivering recruitment solutions for key site, project, commercial, and leadership positions. You’ll be joining a national infrastructure business that values autonomy, high performance, and genuine collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across white-collar Energy and Power roles
• Win and grow business with Tier 1, Tier 2 contractors
• Recruit for key roles such as Project Managers, Contract Administrators, Site Managers, Estimators, and Commercial Managers
• Build lasting relationships with clients and candidates across all project stages
• Maintain strong pipelines and consistent communication across the market
• Leverage national support and brand equity to open new doors

What we’re looking for

• Proven 360 recruitment experience, ideally within the Utilites sector
• Familiarity with Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractor environments
• Business development capability with a proactive, strategic approach
• Excellent relationship management and candidate care
• Strong organisational skills and a results-driven mindset
• A self-motivated consultant ready to build something of their own
