Senior Backend Engineer

Description

A Global TGI company, developing virtual/AR ad tech for live and post-produced sports broadcasts, is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to lead backend development for its real-time AR system. This role blends backend architecture, DevOps, and video/image processing to support large-scale cloud and on-prem pipelines.

Working in a hybrid model, 4 days a week at the company offices in Modi'in and one day from home.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems for video data processing
• Manage pipelines across AWS and on-prem environments
• Integrate C++ and Node.js modules
• Handle secure metadata management (e.g., AWS S3)
• Build dashboards for system monitoring and performance

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong skills in Node.js, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and system architecture
• DevOps mindset with hands-on experience
• Independent, detail-oriented, team player
• Strong communication skills

Bonus Points

• Experience with MySQL, C++ (real-time systems)
• Background in AR or sports broadcasting
