We are seeking a hands-on senior professional who can lead a team of data engineers to lay the groundwork for making data accessible to AI engineers for research and/or application development. The key objectives for this position include: Enhancing the ASML Data Foundation with unstructured data such as notes, knowledge repositories like Confluence or SharePoint, and document types like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Utilizing Delta Lake-enabled storage accounts in the ASML Data Foundation, with proficiency in Unity Catalog for centralized access control, auditing, and data lineage across Azure Databricks workspaces. Establishing data integration layers that interface with source systems both on-premises sources and cloud-hosted environments. Efficiently provisioning data to cloud application development environments, including Azure storage accounts serving as ADLS, Azure AI Search, Cosmos DB, and PostgreSQL. Developing a vision for document processing, from cracking and chunking to embedding, within the context of AI service, determining the destination, data types, and formats required for processing.15 years full time education
