Sandman Hotels requires an energetic Shuttle Driver responsible for providing for the comfort and service for guests of the hotel. The Shuttle Driver will promote a positive image of the property to guests, and must be pleasant, friendly and able to address problems or special requests.
The Shuttle Driver must understand his/her role as brand ambassador and provide positive brand experiences to all customers. Sandman Hotels offer competitive salary packages, an incredible work environment, and career advancement opportunities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Class 4 Driver License.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Clear driving abstract might be required.
• A minimum of one year customer service.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule.
• Ability to multitask and have excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• A willingness to learn, develop and expand skills and knowledge for self-development.
• Physical mobility and stamina required
• Ability to follow instruction
• Ability to work independently
• Professional appearance and manners
• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
DUTIES:
• Drive company shuttle vans to transport guests, luggage and packages to various destinations, mainly the airport.
• Assist all passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle, including properly storing and retrieving any luggage to and from the appropriate compartment.
• Vacuum and clean interiors, and wash and polish exteriors of automobiles.
• Pick up or meet customers according to requests, or schedules.
• Provide passengers with information about the local area and points of interest, and/or give advice on restaurants.
• Check parking lot and landscaped areas and remove any garbage/cigarette butts
• Top up with gas and clean inside and out as required
• Provide exceptional customer service in a friendly manner at all times
• Complete accident reports when necessary.
• Notify the manager on duty of vehicle problems.
• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Adaptable to change and be able to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
