Sterile Processing Technician at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana, CA. This position is Per-Diem and will work 8-hour Day shifts.

Reporting to the SPD Manager this position receives and processes incoming supplies, instrumentation and equipment, performs cleaning and sterilizing duties, prepares packs of supplies, linens, and instruments in SPD as directed.

Required Qualifications: 

Coursework/Training: Graduate from Instrument Tech or Surgery Tech training program.

National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association within 1 year of hire. Or

National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution within 1 year of hire.

California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

1 year of Instrument Tech or Surgery Tech experience within an acute care facility.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
