Supervisor Sterile Processing at Providence Seaside Hospital is a 1.0 FTE full time position working during weekdays and weekends on a day shift

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of $10,000. Eligible external hires must meet the required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Supervises and coordinates Sterile Processing activities. Responsible for staff scheduling, planning and organizing work priorities, and troubleshooting and solving departmental issues. Participates in hiring, and disciplinary processes.

Required Qualifications: 

  • National Certified Ambulatory Surgery Sterile Processing Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution upon hire. Or
  • National Certified Endoscope Reprocessor - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire. Or
  • National Flexible Endoscope Reprocessors - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution upon hire. Or
  • National Certified Healthcare Leader - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire. Or
  • National Certified Instrument Specialist - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire. Or
  • National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association upon hire. Or
  • National Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution upon hire. Or
  • National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution upon hire. Or
  • National Management in Sterile Processing - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution upon hire.
  • 2 years of Leadership experience.
  • 3 years of Sterile Processing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
