As the HR Technology Student, in the HR Systems team, we will provide you with exposure to all areas of HR and the use of HR technology to support our workforce of more than 11,000 employees.   • Job location: Calgary, AB – Head Office
  • Shift schedule: 5 days on, 2 days off, 8 hours/day (Monday – Friday) 
  • Term length: 12 months
  • Term start: January 2026
  • Safety sensitive position: No

Key Accountabilities:

This position is a technical role supporting Reporting and Analytics, Security, Page Design, Automated Testing, Data Conversion and Oracle Guided Learning

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Page design updates and troubleshooting based on New Redwood Pages for all modules
  • Work to create business rules through page design tools to help minimize errors
  • Security management for all system users, including HR, Learning, Employees and Line Managers
  • Maintain reporting catalog for all reports and analytics
  • Create new reports and modify existing reports for all modules
  • Create new dashboards and enhance existing dashboards for managers, HR, Learning Administrators and Timekeepers
  • Continue to roll-out analytics to different users within HR and the rest of the company
  • Create and manage existing Oracle Guided Learning on Oracle HCM pages and analytics pages to enhance user experience and reduce errors

What You Bring to The Role:

  • Currently enrolled in your 3rd or 4th year of a degree program in Human Resources or Information Systems is required with an interest in technology and data management
  • Would be considered an asset:
  • Ability to accurately collect information in order to understand and assess the internal clients’ needs
  • Oracle – Human Capital Management (HCM) or comparable Human Capital Management system experience
  • UKG (formerly Kronos) or comparable Time and Attendance system experience
  • Understanding of HR operations and experience in employee data management
