About the opportunity
The Program Manager, Professional Services Review provides program and operational management for the establishment and implementation of the Professional Services Review. As directed by the Executive Program Director, they ensure effective planning, resource utilisation, and stakeholder collaboration. They establish project plans, resource plans, and optimise project governance and reporting. They also manage project financials to meet objectives within budget constraints.
Working with the Executive Program Director, this position will set the strategic agenda and achieves goals through the effective utilisation of resources. The incumbent will work collaboratively to operationalise, implement and manage decisions related to the strategic and operational performance of the program. This role will use judgement, and draw on prior experience in a similar environment, to ensure effective application of governance and mitigate risks.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
establish and manage project plans for the Professional Services Review, including project structure, governance, and key performance indicators
design and implement project strategy and work plan to meet program objectives within set budget parameters
implement project management methodology for consistent and efficient project management across projects
optimise resource utilisation and deployment for project implementation, including finances, personnel, and technology
source and align critical staff, reallocating resources as needed to fill gaps and meet project deliverables
provide program management leadership, guidance, and accurate definition of project phases, milestones, and objectives
consolidate and align project plans, identifying synergies and leveraging resources for efficient project execution
assess and manage program governance, reporting, risk mitigation, and data integrity throughout implementation.
About you
Bachelor’s degree and/or an equivalent combination of training and experience
ability to clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of channels to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message
extensive experience managing and controlling budgets
demonstrated experience in leading complex transformation service delivery programs, preferably within the higher education or public sector
strong understanding of shared services, operating model transformation, and enterprise change delivery
demonstrated experience in people management, including managing staff performance and development, and positively supporting team culture
exceptional stakeholder management skills, including the ability to navigate complex governance and engage at all levels.
