We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Ops Client Service I to join our CLIENT SERVICE - CT INDIA team. This role is located in Pune, MH – HYBRID.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Review systemic reminders from tickler management tool and act upon ticklers/reminders generated via systems used, including performing mandatory and optional client calls.
- Send reminders to clients for compliance items such as financial statements, budgets, company certifications, rebate/arbitrage calculations, and other related documents.
- Identify and act on fiduciary items including EMMA postings, tax reminders, TIRA annual notices, and required reports to clients or bondholders.
- Follow up with clients on non-receipt of required items, ensure timely and accurate tickler maintenance, update aged ticklers with comments, and release ticklers once actions are completed.
- Meet deliverables to ensure consistent green KRIs and work cooperatively and inclusively in a team environment to achieve shared objectives.
- Provide clients with high quality operational support, maintain good client relations, research and resolve inquiries efficiently, and navigate internal resources to resolve moderately complex day-to-day client issues.
- Monitor client inquiries, resolve non-routine issues, escalate complex or risk issues as needed, and participate in internal initiatives to identify process improvements enhancing the client experience.
- Document all client communications and apply problem-solving skills, experience, and judgment to analyze information.
- Demonstrate preparedness to take on back-up functions and deliver high quality service with strong communication skills.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- A minimum bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education is required.
- Minimum 3.5+ years of prior experience in operations (Corporate Trust, Client facing, Governance or Derivatives functions).
- Experience reviewing client governing documents such as trust indentures, escrow agreements, investment agreements, financial statements, loan agreements, and legal documents.
- Knowledge of Fixed-Income Securities markets, Money market, Derivatives, and Capital Market.
- Knowledge of the Custody Life Cycle.
- Strong skills in reviewing and interpreting client governing documents.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Strong oral and written communication skills with fluency in English.
- Problem-solving orientation, client-focused, efficient, proactive, and capable of de-escalating situations as required.
- Self-management skills including efficient, structured, independent, and autonomous working.
- Knowledge about systems, their logic, and interaction.
- Responsible time management and adherence to internal control, reporting, and compliance guidelines.
- Willingness to take on special tasks as required.
