We have an exciting opportunity for a Brand Lead - Gastroenterology/ Hepatology to join Norgine in Frenchs Forest, Sydney.
The person holding this position will report to the Head of Commercial- Specialty Care.
Requirements
1. Comprehensive leadership-of and ownership-to marketing activities of the Norgine range of Specialist Gastroenterology/ Hepatology products within the portfolio. To ensure the profitable development of existing brands and new products, as applicable.
2. End-to-end management of marketing requirements from strategy localisation, through to tactical delivery; design and delivery of strategic brand plans and integrated tactical plans for Norgine Specialty Care portfolio.
3. You will work closely and collaboratively with your internal and external stakeholders to grow and develop the business through targeted, data-informed and strategically-aligned marketing programs.
4. The role is Sydney-based, office-hybrid, and working across the Australia and New Zealand market(s).
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably; marketing, or business, or science, or medicine, or a similar relevant discipline.
- A minimum of 7-8 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and preferably a proven track record in pharmaceutical sales.
- A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience as a (senior) product manager, ideally with launch experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. Experience in Specialty Care highly preferred.
- Ability to take on medical and technical information and translate into clear communication as per defined strategies
- Ability to lead local cross-functional teams and work closely with Global functions
- Strong business acumen, with a clear mindset and experience for project planning, work load prioritisation, and proactively delivering to deadlines.
- Sound technical knowledge and an ability to effectively impart technical knowledge to Medical Specialists, Hospital Pharmacists etc.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
- Effective presentation skills are necessary for product training and medical presentations.
- Experience with omnichannel marketing tools and sales engagement models.
- Understanding of the compliance and regulatory environment.
- Solid analytical skills and creativity are vital to assist with the development of effective marketing and business plans.
- IT proficiency in business-related packages - MS Office 365, Veeva, Salesforce.
- Proficient in English.
- Valid / Unrestricted Australian driver’s licence.
- Completed Medicines Australia CEP program.
- Working knowledge and understanding of, or ability to quickly understand the basic workings of:
-Australian Pharmaceutical Industry
- ASMI
- Medicines Australia Codes of Conduct
- PBS
- TGA
- PHARMAC NZ
- Medsafe NZ
- Ability to travel up to 15% of time
