How will you make an impact in this role?
The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The USCS team is focused on making membership an indisputable competitive advantage and helping each other become better leaders every day.
The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the US Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle. Within USCM, the Digital and Direct Marketing team oversees marketing for our US Consumer proprietary channels.
The Manager of Distribution Partnerships will help manage partnerships key to our success, both developing marketing plans for growth as well as managing operational priorities within the channels, with an eye on operational excellence. They will lead Amex card acquisition strategy on Resy-owned channels through testing and optimizations to reach high-value, engaged customers. This role will blend digital performance marketing, partner management innovation and operational excellence to deliver seamless and integrated acquisition experiences.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead end-to-end management of strategic card acquisition channels, including Resy; from creative development, user experience insights, and go-to-market enablement to deliver growth
- Oversee campaign planning and execution, leveraging data-driven insights to evaluate performance, optimize results, and communicate impact to senior leaders.
- Build and influence strong cross-functional relationships with key partners across, Legal, Compliance, Technology, Finance and Operations to drive alignment and execution.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies that accelerate card acquisition and program growth, leveraging performance data and business priorities.
- Lead the important, high-visibility work of compliant offboarding as business priorities evolve
- Manage a high-performing team of two Senior Analysts, providing coaching and development while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of marketing or partnership experience
- Strong desire to lead a team
- Passion for building the best teams and developing strong talent.
- Effective partner management experience, including a track record of success building/nurturing relationships with internal and external partners.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences, including senior leaders.
- Excellent organization and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and flawlessly manage multiple projects across a portfolio or partners.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
