We are recruiting a Paralegal based in either our Birmingham or Glasgow office to work within the Central Procurement and Contracts team. This role will support the lawyers on a variety of in-house paralegal duties and administrative tasks.
Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.
Candidate Overview
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
- Previous paralegal experience, ideally within a global commercial law firm.
- Demonstrate strong previous document management and project management experience
Experience of:
- Preparing basic legal documentation – templated letters of engagement, non-disclosure agreements, change control notices, termination notices
- Reviewing standard supplier agreements
- Undertaking commercial and high-level legal research
- Managing precedents and other internal templates
- Managing contract, supplier and spend databases
- Supporting lawyers in the CPC team on project management for large scale projects
- Supporting Procurement Category Managers – preparing legal terms sheets for tender activities
- Coordinating due diligence on supplier agreements
- Coordinating document executions and filing
- Assisting CPC Team lawyers with day-to-day administrative duties
- Dealing with any additional ad hoc duties that may arise
