Work Situation
*Please Note: Candidates must be based in the South Atlantic states (NC, SC, or GA). While this is mostly a work from home position, there may be occasional visits to a local office for team meetings. The work schedule is Mon-Fri 8am-5pm ET.

About 75% of this person’s role will be in two areas: 1) Ensuring our municipal franchise accounts are being billed correctly, both residential and commercial; and, 2) Updating and ensuring all information is captured in Salesforce.com, specifically monthly and annual revenue, monthly house counts, municipal documents (i.e., franchise agreements, annual price adjustment notifications, pertinent documents, etc.). Working knowledge of Salesforce.com is preferred. The remaining 25% of the role will be assisting with general contractual and reporting needs within Public Sector.
I. Job Summary
Provides advanced clerical and administrative support to departmental Managers. This senior level coordinator is more experienced in an administrative coordinator role and may be expected to perform at a higher level of responsibility in comparison to the entry-level coordinator position. Duties and tasks are varied and may be somewhat complex. Resolves most questions and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels. Under minimal supervision, assists in administering the community and municipal disposal and franchise fee reporting requirements.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
- Prepare high quality, accurate, and timely franchise and disposal reports to our municipalities, as needed.
- Review municipal franchise billing accounts for accuracy, updating as needed.
- Input and ensure data accuracy within Public Sector reporting platforms, including Salesforce.com and MAS.
- Ensure that all internal controls are followed related to assigned functions.
- Assist in preparation of municipal audits.
- Monthly Quarterly and Yearly Reporting Requirements to our municipalities, as needed.
- Assures that franchise payments are made by their appropriate due date.
- Assist the Community and Municipal department with municipal events.
- Completes special projects as required.
III. Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory duties, but may occasionally act as a team lead.
IV. Qualifications

A. Education and Experience
Education: High school diploma (accredited) or GED (accredited)
Experience: Three (3) years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirements)
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
None required.
C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
Intermediate Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet skills required (sorting, cutting/pasting, pivot table reports and range of math formulas) and intermediate Word document skills. Good interpersonal skills as well as good oral and written communication skills.
