Location: Columbus, Georgia

 

This Production Supervisor – Weekend Shift (Friday - Sunday 7AM - 7PM) position is with Kysor-Warren Epta, part of the global Epta Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will lead and coordinate manufacturing or distribution activities during the overnight shift. You’ll ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards while fostering a high-performance culture through coaching, training, and development.

Your contribution:

• Supervise the safe and efficient production and/or distribution of goods during 3rd shift in alignment with company standards and goals.
• Plan, prioritize, and schedule team assignments to meet production targets.
• Train, coach, and develop team members for operational success and continuous improvement.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate required maintenance.
• Manage the performance and morale of assigned team members.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives and identify process improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet plant-wide goals.
• Track KPIs including labor usage, material costs, and quality metrics to reduce waste and increase output.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations and uphold the company code of ethics.
• Participate in the hiring, training, and evaluation of staff.
• Engage directly in operations when needed to resolve bottlenecks or address critical issues.
• Enforce 6S workplace standards and promote good housekeeping.
• Utilize IT systems to streamline production workflows and improve data accuracy.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Knowledge in fabrication, welding, assembly, paint finishing, or refrigeration systems is highly valued.
• Proficiency in using IT tools related to production and operations.
