- Managing international clients and leading the audits with high quality delivery.
- Collaborate to plan engagement objectives and an audit strategy that complies with professional standards and appropriately addresses risk.
- Evaluate the work requirements of audits for clients.
- Supervise junior engagement team members and develop them through effectively delegating audit tasks and providing guidance to assurance staff.
- Write audit reports and present findings to clients and upper management.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations.
- Monitor the engagement team's progress against the plan and alter it when needed.
- Deliver quality auditing services to clients and their stakeholders.
- Direct fieldwork manages engagement economics and inform supervisors of the audit engagement status.
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with audit client personnel, assess audit clients' satisfaction and proactively maintain contact with the audit client throughout the year.
- Act as the Performance Manager and lead the career development of team members
- Motivate and develop Executives to be effective team leaders
This role is for you if you have the below:
Educational qualifications
•A qualified CA/ACCA (ideally 1st attempt)
Work experience
•Must have 2-3 years of relevant experience with international business, manufacturing, trading and service industry, public sector and financial services with a track record of academic and professional success
•Past Big 4 experience is preferred.
Mandatory technical & functional skills
•Extremely high level of comfort with spreadsheets, MS word and Power point.
•Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills.
Preferred technical & functional skills
•Proficiency with financial research tools.
•Ability to thrive in an international environment.
Key behavioural attributes/requirements
•Strong communication and presentation skills including writing and verbal skills in English.
