Roles & responsibilities

The role and responsibilities of a Senior in the DSG Scalable teams would include:

•Being active member to deliver quality audit deliverables of audit engagements of international KPMG clients you are allocated. •Embrace and implement KPMG audit methodology to work on complex sections of the financial statements of audit engagements as per country specific statutory requirements and prepare and document accounting workpapers, controls and audit findings. •Work with clients/onshore on PBM requirements, work assignments to engagement team members, Identification of issues/missing information and managing & tracking the open issues until resolved, etc. •Establish strong professional relationships with clients and engagement team members through regular connects. •Provide regular updates on work pipeline, discussions with engagement teams on issues/missing information etc. while maintaining the data confidentiality and adherence to the risk management policy by the team members. •Review of the team’s work and to provide timely feedback to team members to enable them to improve their performance.

This role is for you if you have  the below

Educational qualifications

•Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (e.g. ICAI or ACCA)

Work experience

•1-2 year of relevant post qualification experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big 4 firm •Candidate with articleship experience from a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm.

Mandatory  technical & functional skills

•Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. •IT literacy with sound knowledge and experience of Microsoft softwares like Excel/ Word/ PowerPoint •Experience with working independently on audit assignments or engagements

Preferred technical & functional skills

•Leadership skills demonstrating sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. •Working experience of IFRS
