Overview

Omnicell is seeking a skilled and organized Legal Contract Manager to join our dynamic Legal team. This role is responsible for leading our enterprise-wide contract management improvement initiative and overseeing the implementation and ongoing ownership of a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system. The ideal candidate is process-oriented, curious, and passionate about legal operations, combining legal acumen, operational excellence, and project management expertise.

Responsibilities

• Contract Lifecycle Management: Lead, maintain, and optimize the CLM system to support business and legal objectives across the organization.
• Legal Operations: Drive capacity-building for in-house legal through information governance, analytics, vendor management, technology enablement, and organizational process design.
• Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders (attorneys, procurement, IT, compliance, etc.) to streamline contract processes and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Process Improvement: Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to contracting and legal operations processes.
• Data Stewardship: Monitor contract data quality, ensure process adherence, and report on key performance indicators.
• Training and Support: Provide end-user training and ongoing support for the CLM system to maximize adoption and effectiveness.
• Escalations and Negotiations: Serve as the primary point of contact for contract escalations and critical negotiations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5–8 years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or legal project management, preferably within a corporate legal or procurement environment.
• Proven experience implementing or managing CLM systems (such as Ironclad, Agiloft, DocuSign CLM, Icertis, etc.).
• Comprehensive understanding of contract structures, risk frameworks, and legal terminology.
• Demonstrated capability to manage complex projects with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in-house with legal professionals; JD is advantageous but not required.
• Familiarity with contract operations across sales, procurement, and corporate legal functions.
• Background in change management and legal technology enablement initiatives.
