Role Overview:
The Integration Manager will play a key role in managing and executing integration processes between our company and external operators (clients). This is a customer-facing role that requires both technical expertise and the ability to effectively manage relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in iGaming technologies, particularly in system integrations, and be comfortable working hands-on with integration technologies. They will manage client expectations, lead integration discussions, and ensure successful technical onboarding and integration with our gaming platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for operators (clients) during the integration phase, guiding them through the process and ensuring a smooth experience.
- Lead discussions with operators to understand their technical needs and provide tailored solutions based on our system capabilities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations to ensure long-term success and satisfaction.
Integration Management:
- Oversee the integration of client systems with our platform, including both direct and reverse integration processes (API integrations).
- Serve as the subject matter expert on integrations, advising both internal teams and clients on best practices and technical solutions.
- Manage integration timelines and ensure successful, on-time delivery of integration projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with clients, providing technical support as necessary.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Work closely with product managers, developers, and technical teams to align integration strategies with business and product objectives.
- Coordinate and facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to ensure that internal teams are up to date on integration developments and client needs.
Technical Support & Hands-On Contribution:
- Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams during the integration process.
- Apply your technical expertise to troubleshoot issues, debug integration failures, and propose solutions.
- Be hands-on with integration testing, ensuring that both functional and non-functional requirements are met.
Process Improvement & Optimization:
- Continuously evaluate and enhance integration processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and overall client experience.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline integration workflows, reducing the time and complexity involved.
- Document integration standards, processes, and troubleshooting procedures for internal use and client training.
Qualifications & Skills:
Essential:
- Proven experience in iGaming or gambling industry with a solid understanding of the technology stack and integration requirements specific to this sector.
- Strong technical background with experience in API integrations, web services (RESTful APIs), and system integrations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable working directly with clients and managing client expectations in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with integration tools, protocols, and technologies such as XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, and webhooks.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Backend-Focused Development Skills: Familiarity with backend technologies such as Java, as much of the development work involves Java.
- Acceptance Frameworks: Experience with Java + RestAssured for testing and acceptance frameworks.
- Manual Testing Tools: Familiarity with Postman for testing and handling manual tasks during integration and troubleshooting.
Desired:
- Familiarity with common messaging protocols and streaming tools (e.g., Kafka).
- Previous experience in a leadership role or as the main technical point of contact for integrations.
