Pay Range: $65,000 - $80,000

Summary: Plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Responsible for quality system maintenance
Root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns
Assist quality manager in establishing, implementing and maintaining the quality management system
Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S. Kazan lean methods.
Develop training to build quality awareness
Interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to Production of new products are in accordance with approved data
Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system
Conducts audits, including closing out audit findings, creating audits finding reports and determine proper corrective and preventative actions
Analyze failure, corrective and preventative action to respond to customer complaints
Create and maintain company quality procedures, etc.
Responsible for planning, organizing and managing the overall activities of receiving/ outgoing quality functions
Continuously improving QA receiving inspection processes and procedures
Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventative actions
Manage suppliers' performance and conduct audits
Preparation of QA reports
Assist lab technicians with layout and GD&T
Develop standardized work procedures and methods for the Quality Management System
Requirements
Other Qualifications:
Previous experience with automotive industry
Be able to read and accurately interpret prints and requirements in a screw machine environment
Develop PFMEA and control plans
Prepare periodic reports for the quality management system
Provide training for others as it relates to quality (SPC basics)
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and 5-7 years of experience, or Master's Degree (M.S.) with 1-4 years of experience
