Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Salesforce Developer with a strong background in Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Experience/Community Cloud, and Apex development to join our Service Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Salesforce solutions that enhance system reliability, performance, and user experience across our enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Flows.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems using Mulesoft, MavenLink, and other APIs.
  • Collaborate with SREs to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of Salesforce applications.
  • Configure and customize Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Community Cloud to meet business needs.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities using CI/CD best practices.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce-related issues.
  • Document technical solutions and maintain system architecture diagrams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 11+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development.
  • Strong expertise in Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Experience/Community Cloud.
  • Proficient in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
  • Experience with Mulesoft and MavenLink integrations.
  • Familiarity with SRE principles such as monitoring, incident response, and automation.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce best practices, governor limits, and security models.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Salesforce Developer Certification(s) preferred.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence.

Qualifications         

•    Service Reliability: Experience with managing and maintaining highly-available systems, including cloud-based infrastructure. 
•    Programming: Proficiency in programming to automate repetitive tasks ("toil") to reduce manual effort and human error.
•    Monitoring & Observability: Solid understanding of monitoring tools, incident management platforms, and metrics analysis.
•    Technical Depth: Deep knowledge of system performance optimization and troubleshooting methodologies. Experience with cloud platforms, databases, CI/CD, distributed systems, and security best practices. 
•    Communication & Collaboration: Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams.
•    Problem Solving: Ability to thrive in high-pressure situations and demonstrate a calm, methodical approach to problem-solving. Analytical mindset for interpreting data, metrics, and patterns to make informed decisions and predict future issues.
•    Systemic Thinking: Ability to view interconnected systems holistically anticipating the broader impact of changes and designing for resilience.
•    Ownership and Proactiveness: Take responsibility for the reliability and performance of services. Proactively identifying potential problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement before they impact users.

Education & Experience          

•    Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information systems, Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent.
