The Assistant to the Senior Vice President provides comprehensive administrative support to the Senior Vice President by managing the day-to-day operations of the Campus Life Office, coordinating internal workflows and communications, and assisting with special projects, events, and strategic initiatives designed to advance the goals of the Division of Campus Life and Operational Management.
Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support to the Senior Vice President and their direct reports
- Update and maintain the division’s web presence, office files, records, Student Handbook, and Emergency Operations Plan
- Coordinate the Baccalaureate Service
- Confirm disciplinary records of students for investigators and Dean certificates
- Co-coordinate all aspects of Marlin Nation Orientation
- Performs complex and confidential administrative functions, including composing written correspondence, creating reports, preserving records, and managing and preparing other documents
- Organize and create content and materials for the Campus Affairs Committee of the Board of Trustees
- Serve as the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society Circle Coordinator
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree, master’s preferred. Knowledge of and experience with institutions of higher education. Previous experience assisting upper management and proficient with technology. Ability to communicate effectively, multitask, and work independently.
