Description
Complete reviews and observations in a timely manner with accuracy. Daily Log entries and reports are to be precise including who, what, when, where and why.
Detect and report any illegal or unusual activities to the surveillance manager and/or shift supervisor.
Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must respond calmly in crisis and highly stressful situations.
Must work independently and in a group.
Must distinguish colors and/or markings.
Conduct clandestine surveillance of overall casino and slot operations, cashiers cage, count activities, etc.
Ensure adherence to and perform all duties as required by departmental manual, standards and procedures.
Operate closed circuit television, video recording devices, remote control devices, and computers using MS Word and Excel.
Thorough knowledge of gaming regulations, casino games and house gaming rules.
Proactively notify management of any gaming, procedural and policy violations.
Demonstrate impartiality and confidentiality of all actions and behaviors observed.
Maintain visual attention and mental concentration for significant periods of time.
Requirements
- Report directly to the Surveillance Manager, Supervisor or Senior Operator.
- Supports other Managers, Directors and Executives with assistance and information relating to the protection of assets in their respective departments, as well as fellow Operators in the performance of their duties.
- Understand and cooperate fully with all Departmental and Company policies, including the “open door” policy.
- Continuously monitor CCTV, closely scrutinizing all activities within camera range to ensure the protection of company assets.
- Maintain a professional relationship with Commission members and their Agents.
- Accurately and quickly perform duties as assigned.
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain or augment skills through review and self-study.
- Complete any other tasks that may be assigned by Surveillance Senior Operators, Supervisor, or the Manager to the best of their ability.
Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry. Must be able to stoop, bend and reach. Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. When on casino floor, must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust. Must be able to reach 6 feet into the air. Must be able to hold 15 lbs. with outstretched arms.
Required Work Cards/Licenses/Certificates:
Nevada Gaming Control Board registration & Alcohol Awareness training required.
