Job Summary: The Clinical Recruiter position at Healthier Mississippi People (HMP) serves as an important member of the Talent Acquisition Team. This position is responsible for most of the required recruiting functions which ultimately lead to the hiring of credentialed and/or licensed staff for the facility which contracts HMP for staffing. This role involves sourcing, screening, and guiding candidates through the hiring process while maintaining a strong focus on candidate experience and client satisfaction. Although there is some room for flex work with HMP, this position is expected to be available in office during regular working hours unless scheduled to work outside of the office.
Essential Duties And Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing Candidates:
- Actively search for and recruit qualified healthcare professionals by using job boards, social media, professional networks, and career events.
- Screening and Interviewing:
- Conduct resume reviews and initial interviews to assess candidates’ clinical qualifications, certifications, and fit for both HMP and the contracted facility.
- Coordinating Interviews:
- Consults with contracted facility hiring manager to understand organizational recruitment needs and ensure a seamless process with clear communication and logistics.
- Building Relationships:
- Foster and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with candidates by providing accurate information, consistent follow-up, and professional support throughout the hiring process.
- Staying Informed:
- Keep up-to-date with trends in the healthcare industry and recruitment best practices to attract top-tier clinical talent and remain competitive in the staffing market.
- Strategic Planning:
- Support the development and execution of recruitment strategies to meet the staffing goals of HMP and its contracted facilities, especially for hard-to-fill or specialized clinical roles.
Talent Acquisition Coordination:
Controls full life-cycle recruitment of healthcare professionals by keeping candidate on track for timely hire. Maintains new hire file and shares necessary information in a timely manner with other internal departments (ie: payroll/benefits) so that new hire process is completed appropriately.
Knowledge And Skills:
- Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Displays proper customer service with both external and internal co-workers
- Experience with Microsoft suite of products (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience giving presentations and/or public speaking experience
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Visionary and diverse in thoughts and actions
Requirements
Education, Experience, And Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Minimum three (3) years healthcare recruiting experience required
- Prior nursing experience preferred
- Healthcare Human Resources experience preferred
- Superb written and oral communication skills
- Proven customer service experience required
