Job Title: Supply Clerk - Purchasing Department Monday - Friday
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Supply Clerk to join our Purchasing Department in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, processing purchase orders, and ensuring that all supplies are readily available to support hospital operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to ensure timely replenishment of supplies.
- Process purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure supplies are received in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their supply needs and address any issues related to inventory.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Perform regular audits of inventory to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area for supplies.

Requirements
Minimum Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Must have a valid drivers licnse.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
Knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment.
Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures.
