Job Title: Sonographer   PRN- As Needed Safety Sensitive Job 

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations and providing high-quality imaging services to assist in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients as per physician orders

- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures

- Analyze and interpret ultrasound images to provide accurate diagnostic information

- Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition

- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss findings and patient care

- Document and maintain accurate patient records and imaging reports

- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures

Required Skills:

- Proficient in performing various ultrasound procedures

- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills

- Proficient in using ultrasound equipment and technology

- Certification in Sonography from an accredited institution

Requirements

Qualifications:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field

- Current certification from a recognized professional organization (e.g., ARDMS)

- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred
