Senior Quality Engineer

Purpose

This role is responsible for ensuring that all activities within the scope meet the required quality standards, minimize quality costs and maximise customer satisfaction by ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to.

Key Missions

• Create periodic audit and evaluation plan for suppliers.
• Supplier process & system audit to ensure the standards and monitoring performance.
• Grading of supplier on the basis of QCDS data and information to supplier for his status.
• Feedback and follow up with supplier regarding  quality failures and commitment for improvements.
• Supplier improvement verification and monitoring.
• Jail status monitoring, RMA follow up and settlement.
• New supplier audit and evaluation.
• Conducting internal audits & reviews for ensuring strict adherence to the process & systems as per defined guidelines.
• OQC failure feedback, analysis and improvements, Implementing quality systems/ procedures to reduce rejections and ensure zero defect products, Conducting new product development / evaluation and monitoring customer response.
• Executing quality improvement project on various quality systems to reduce defects.
• Monitoring adherence to quality systems and comply with ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and maintaining requisite documents, Generation of SOP (Standard operation Procedure) for better shop floor management.
• Analyzing various process / application and recommending process modification and equipment calibration to enhance operational efficiency
• Verifying ECN (Engineering Change Note) generated by R&D and Engineering.
• Supports the process owner in organising cross-functional teams to investigate, identify root cause, implement and report on suitable corrective actions that will satisfy customer, third party or audit requirements
